A student's Oba-Chan (Grandma) passed away this week. She was 101 years old and ran a kimono store.She brought in kimonos and beautiful egg shell dolls (tamago ningyo) to share with her friends.
The girls tried on beautiful kimonos and snacked on delicious mochi in memory of her Oba-Chan.
Oba-chan's spirit lives on in our Huakailani Butterfly.
