Aloha! Checking in from "The Trouble with Goldilocks" musical theatre class. We are off to a wonderful start. We have 16 girls enrolled in the class and they are all very excited about the play.
If your daughter is auditioning for a part in the play, she will have an audition script to bring home today. Please help her practice memorize (if possible) the script for the audition this Thursday. If she cannot memorize it and needs the script, that is okay. She only needs to memorize her parts on the audition script. Other people will be saying the other parts of the audition script when she tries out.
If your daughter does not bring home an audition script to practice, it is because she has already been assigned a part, due to no one else wanting it.
The official cast for the play will be posted and sent home with the girls on Friday. The girls will also bring home a "Home Copy" of the script so she can begin practicing her part over the weekend.
This "Home Copy" does not need to be sent back to school. She has a "School Copy" that will be kept at school.
COMMUNICATION - There is a student paper file at the entrance to the school. Please check it or have your daughter check it daily before you leave to see if there is anything she needs to take home.
HOLIDAY - Reminder that next Tuesday, June11th is King Kamehameha Day. There will be no class.
Reminder that the play performance will be June 21 at 10:00a.m.
