Our musical theatre play for the second session is "Aesop's Fables." We will be reading many fables and learning valuable lessons from each one.
Our performance date will be the last day of class at 10:00 a.m. on July 12, Friday. Please mark your calendars now so you can attend.
We will begin our first week by becoming familiar with the script and learning about the characters in our play. We will not be holding auditions for this play. Instead the students will be assigned to perform in one of 4 fables.

While having fun with theatre, we will have some time reserved for academic work. The class's activities are already integrated with science, social studies, math, reading and writing lessons, but I will be able to give some individualized attention to each student as well.
I am looking forward to working with your daughter as we journey into the world of musical theatre and Goldilocks.
