Week 2 For Musical Theatre
Hard to believe "show time" is next week! The girls are getting very excited.
We did a Teddy Graham Taste Test and graphed the data! Cinnamon Teddy Grahams was the favorite, followed by chocolate and then honey.
The Honey and Cinnamon Graham Crackers look a lot alike. How do we tell them apart? A Kindergartner came up with the idea to smell them. Great idea!
Mrs. B surprised the girls on Thursday with a pancakes and "bangers" (aka sausage) breakfast on Thursday! YUM! In England they call sausages bangers because they go "pop" when you cook them. The girls wanted to see how sausages pop. Our Goldilocks play has "bangers" (sausages) in it. We experimented with 3 different kinds of sausages. Turned into a culinary lesson.
The favorite was the maple syrup sausage.
{Side note - I think the girls were a bit disappointed.
They were expecting the sausages to explode like fireworks. Cute!}

Some of the girls requested "green" pancakes in honor of the Leprechaun in our play.
Green pancakes are the best! She gives it a thumbs up and came back for seconds!

Does the flavor of Teddy Graham affect the amount of time it takes to soften in water?
It was funny watching them float up and down and all around. After an hour...
They concluded that the Honey Teddy Graham softened in the water the fastest. The girls concluded it was because it contained honey and honey is sugar so it dissolves faster.
The girls love to practice!
We added real blush and bows to the goldilocks projects. Cute!
Which bed would you choose?
Yes, we fit in academic study time too! Each girl focused on an academic area selected by parents.
The girls actually begged for more work and ask to do it every day next week. Wow!

The girls are excited about costume fittings, dress rehearsal on Thursday and performing for you on Friday. See you upstairs in Suite 202 at 10a.m.
hard to believe this is the last week of the session already.
