What is Girl Power Camp?

LUNCH/SNACK, PICKUP/DROP OFF & DRESS CODE

Lunch/Snack


  • All lunches and snacks are to be provided by the parent or guardian of each student.
  • All lunches and snacks are to be “cold” lunches (i.e., sandwiches, Lunchables, etc.). We cannot warm up lunches, but we do have a refrigerator on site.  
  • There are two snack times throughout the day:
    • Morning Snack Time: 9:45-10:00am
    • Afternoon Snack Time: 3:00-3:15 pm  


NOTE: Please ensure that we are informed of any and all food allergies your child may have.


  • PLEASE SEND IN A LABELED WATER BOTTLE  and we have Menehune Water Stations on site for refills.
  • Electronic Devices:
    • Electronic devices such as handheld video games, cameras, iPods and cell phones are not allowed.
    • Please note that if there is an emergency the staff will contact you right away.

      DROP OFF & PICK UP

      Summer Student Drop off and Early Morning Care: 7:30am - 8:30am:
      After 8:30, please park and walk your daughter into the gym classroom.




      Drive straight into the driveway (do not turn left). Look for Drop-Off Sign to the left.
      There will be a teacher there to meet and greet students.


      SUMMER STUDENT PICK UP - DISMISSAL:

        Turn into the YWCA Kokokahi drive and turn right - park in lot and go to the gym classroom for pick up.

      • No student will be permitted to leave the school with anyone other than a person who is specifically designated on the Student Information Card. IDs may be checked. This is a safety procedure. Please advise those that you designate to pick up your child that they may be asked to show ID. Safety First! If someone that is not listed will be picking up your child, please notify the school. Be sure to let other people picking up your child know where to go for pick up.

      RUNNING LATE FOR PICK UP? We understand that parents sometimes run late, especially due to traffic-related delays. Please call or text  263-2020 if you are running late due to traffic or other emergency situations.

Shorts or Long pants
Long dresses or "dressy" dresses
Tank tops with 1-inch straps
Tank tops with spaghetti straps
Comfortable dresses with a pair of shorts worn underneath
Dresses without shorts

Tennis shoes with socks, Crocs, Sandals, slippers are all okay!
