The girls learned who Aesop was and what a Fable is...
The focus Fable for today was "The Tortoise and Hare." The girls also learned a lot of facts about Hares vs. Rabbits and Turtles Vs. Tortoises.
The best thing about class this morning was the hatching of Quail Chick # 1. We placed the egg in the incubator 17 days ago and like clockwork, it hatched today. We could have another one hatch on a daily basis. We have been placing an egg in the incubator daily for the past 12 days. Snowdrop lays an egg a day.
The girls were actually able to watch it hatch! How egg-citing!
